Karuna Scheinfeld received a BFA in Fashion Design from Parsons School of design, graduating with honors as well as both Gold and Silver Thimble awards.  While in school she had the privilege of working for The Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute, Alexander McQueen and Michael Kors.  Upon graduating she moved onto Dolce & Gabbana and Ralph Lauren, specializing in menswear.  In 2002 she founded Martin Wynn, a small collection of urban menswear with performance attributes, combining her love of classic design with innovative fabric and construction technology.  She moved on to Ruehl, at Abercrombie & Fitch, in 2004 and onto Martin & Osa, at American Eagle Outfitters, in 2006.  She found her ideal combination of classic American design with quality product at Woolrich, John Rich & Bros in Bologna, Italy in 2008 where she was hired to head the men’s collection and eventually became global concept director.  She returned to New York in 2012 to join the American side of Woolrich, Inc, where she has been VP of Design since.  She currently lives in Brooklyn, NY, with her husband and 2 wild children.
